Audi dominates second free practice at Lausitzring

Mike Rockenfeller headed the second free practice session at Lausitzring, with Audi completely dominating the time sheets by claiming the top seven positions.

Timo Scheider was second best Audi driver, 0.127 seconds behind, with DTM newcomer Adrien Tambay in third and Portuguese racer Filipe Albuquerque in fourth.

Mattias Ekström was final driver in the top five, beaten by Albuquerque with just 14 thousands of a second at the end of the session. Edoardo Mortara and Miguel Molina rounded off the Audi top seven.

Jamie Green was best non-Audi driver in eighth for Mercedes, 0.367 seconds behind. Christian Vietoris claimed ninth best time ahead of top BMW driver in the form of Augusto Farfus Jr. in tenth, half a second from Rockenfeller’s time.
