Norisring event moved to avoid F1 clash

The DTM organisation has moved the Norisring event one week forward in order to avoid a clash with the German Grand Prix.
“Due to the short-notice alterations on the Formula 1 calendar, we also had to respond by adapting the DTM calendar to the new situation,” said Hans Werner Aufrecht, Chairman of ITR.

Three other changes have also been made due to logistical reasons. Zandvoort has been moved from July to the 29th of September as the penultimate race of the season.

The race at Oschersleben has been moved to the 15th of September and the season finale at Hockenheim has been moved over a month forward to the 20th of October.
