Augusto Farfus: Lock up “nothing to worry about”
BMW’s Augusto Farfus believes his off track excursion in this morning’s free practice session was “nothing to worry about.”
The wet conditions at Hockenheim saw the RBM team driver lock-up at the Sachs corner and despite an excursion through the gravel trap as a result, the Brazilian posted the third fastest time of the morning after managing to return to the track.
“It was a lock up,” said Farfus after the session.
“[It was] really nothing to worry about.”
He also explained to TouringCarTimes that the already difficult corner was made even more challenging due to the wet conditions that face the drivers today at Hockenheim.
“It’s a really difficult corner anyway, as you have to take it on the outside.
“With the wet weather conditions, it just made it even more difficult and I just locked up.”
