Jaime Alguersuari and James Calado in DTM test for Mercedes

Jaime Alguersuari and James Calado tested for Mercedes earlier this week as a part of their annual young driver test ahead of the 2014 DTM season, according to Autosport.

The pair were joined by Felix Rosenqvist, who finished second in the F3 European Championship this year, Blancpain Endurance Series drivers Maximilian Buhk and Maxi Gotz, as well as Formula Renault driver Nigel Melker.

The test is also a part in Mercedes’ evaluation to expand to eight drivers from the current six ahead of next year.
