Audi’s Miguel Molina has taken pole for the second round of the 2014 DTM season at Oschesleben ahead of Marco Wittmann and Adrien Tambay.

DTM rookie Antonio Felix da Costa was fourth in his BMW M4 DTM, ahead of two former DTM title winners, the Phoenix Audi pairing of Timo Scheider and Timo Mike Rockenfeller who will line up fifth and sixth respectively.

The 2012 DTM champion Bruno Spengler was eighth ahead of Abt Audi’s Edoardo Mortara.

After spending most of the first part of qualifying at the top of the time-sheets, the 2013 Oschersleben pole-sitter Jamie Green was 11th, ahead of Audi stable-mate and double DTM champion Mattias Ekstrom.

Timo Glock’s woes continued after the ex-Formula 1 driver qualified 19th in his MTEK run BMW M4 DTM. In the morning practice session, Glock managed only three laps as a result of a technical problem.
