Esteban Ocon replaces Daniel Juncadella at Hockenheim

Esteban Ocon is going to step in for Daniel Juncadella who has been forced out of the DTM season finale at Hockenheim this weekend due to illness.

The 19-year-old Ocon is the official test and reserve driver for the Mercedes-AMG DTM Team and got his first taste of the Mercedes AMG DTM C 63 during testing at Jerez in December last year.

The Frenchman won the 2014 Formula 3 European Championship and is competing in the 2015 GP3 series for ART Grand Prix, currently placed second overall.

Mercedes has released no further information on the illness of Juncadella.
