Fog delays programme in Hockenheim

The morning schedule at Hockenheim, host of the ninth and final round of the 2015 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season, has been delayed due to fog.

Conditions were tricky this morning, with the track still wet from overnight rainfall. It initially looked like the fog was lifting, but it began to set in again at mid-morning.

Due to the fog it was impossible for the medical helicopter to take off, which has delayed the support race schedule.

Consequently, qualifying for Race 2 of the DTM has been delayed until 11:50 CET.
