Martin Tomczyk to sport BMW 100th anniversary livery at Nürburgring
Martin Tomczyk will display a special livery on his Team Schnitzer M4 DTM this weekend to mark the centenary of the BMW Group.
The BMW Group was founded on the 7th of March 1916, and celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. The manufacturer has chosen the Nürburgring to commemorate the occasion due to BMW’s long racing history at the Eifel track.
Tomczyk has sported the BMW ‘M Performance Parts’ livery since joining the Bavarian manufacturer back in 2012, and this year competes with the number 100 as part of the group celebrations.
The 2011 champion, who has raced in the DTM since 2001, announced last night that he will be leaving the series at the end of the current season.
