Mercedes puts on a further five kilos for Race 2
The qualifying session for Race 2 took place this afternoon at the Nürburgring, host of the seventh round of the 2016 DTM season, with Lucas Auer having been again the fastest man with a time of 1:22.728, scoring his second pole of the season.
The Austrian also set the best ideal lap for Mercedes AMG, with a time of 1:22.449. Marco Wittmann clocked the best ideal time for BMW Motorsport with 1:22.601, with Jamie Green being the best for Audi Sport with a theoretical time of 1:22.801.
