Jamie Green excluded from qualifying at Lausitzring

Audi Sport driver Jamie Green has been excluded from the results of this morning’s qualifying session at Lausitzring as the Briton was found to be using a tyre not allocated to his car.

Green had initially qualified in 12th position on the grid, after struggling during the session with handling and the general balance of his RS 5 DTM.

In the post-qualifying parc fermé, scrutineers found that one of the tyres fitted in the number 53 Audi wasn’t allocated to the car, with the stewards immediately excluding the Team Rosberg driver from the session classification

As a result, Jamie Green has been demoted to 18th and last position on the starting grid of today’s Race 1.
