Audi and BMW gain weight for the Norisring

The new performance weights have been calculated after Race 2 at the Hungaroring, with both Audi and BMW gaining weight for the next round at the Norisring.

BMW had the fastest race pace on Sunday, with an average lap of 1:38.322, with Audi having a calculated best lap of 1:38.351. Mercedes AMG had the slowest race pace, with an average lap of 1:38.451. With these results, Audi is within the 0.1% of BMW’s lap, with Mercedes below the 0.2% mark.

Consequently, both the BMW M4 DTMs and the RS 5 DTMs will gain 2.5 kg, resulting in new performance weights of 1,117.5 and 1,122.5 kg respectively. The Mercedes C63 DTMs will lose 2.5 kg, with a new weight of 1,122.5 kg.
