Performance weights unchanged due to wet conditions at the Nürburgring

The DTM has confirmed that there will be no change to the performance weights for Race 2 at the Nürburgring, due to the wet weather experienced during the race.

According to the DTM’s sporting regulations, the performance weight recalculation doesn’t apply if wet tyres are used during a race, meaning the weights will remain the same for the second day of running as the first.

The Audi RS 5 DTM will therefore remain as the heaviest car model on the track, running at a weight 1,132.5kg, with the Mercedes C63 DTM 10kg lighter. The BMW M4 DTMs will again have the weight advantage, running at a weight of 1,107.5kg.
