Fog delays second free practice at the Red Bull Ring

The Red Bull Ring has woken up covered by a thick fog that is delaying the programme, with cars unable to take to the field as the medical helicopter is grounded.

The second free practice session was initially scheduled for 09:25 CET, but a starting time of 10:00 is now being considered as drivers and engineers look to the sky.

Audi’s Jamie Green was fastest in yesterday’s session, with local hero Mercedes’ Lucas Auer a close second.
