Audi Sport reveal liveries for the 2018 DTM season

Audi Sport has presented the liveries for their six Audi RS 5 DTMs ahead of the 2018 DTM season.

Teams Abt Sportsline, Phoenix and Rosberg will manage the Ingolstadt-based manufacturer’s cars, with Robin Frijns replacing retired Mattias Ekström as the only change in their driver line-up.

Frenchman Loïc Duval has also chosen a new race number for the forthcoming season: “28 is the number of the French ‘département’ where I was born. It has accompanied me my whole life.”

Audi Sport will start the season as the team to beat as defending champions in manufacturers, teams and drivers. René Rast will race with his personal number #33 as reigning champion.

“We’re proud to be able to rely on long-standing partners in our title defence project,” says Head of Audi Motorsport Dieter Gass. “In 2018, we’d like to again clinch as many titles as possible, above all, obviously, the drivers’ title which enjoys the greatest prestige in the DTM.”
