Timo Glock fastest in the final morning session at Hockenheim

BMW Motorsport driver Timo Glock set the fastest lap time in today’s morning session at Hockenheim, on the final day of the official DTM pre-season tests.

The 36-year-old completed 50 laps to set a best time of 1:32.749, followed by Mercedes’ Lucas Auer, 0.040 seconds behind.

BMW’s Joel Eriksson was third, 0.061 seconds off the pace, with the Mercedes’ of Paul di Resta and Pascal Wehrlein, already two and three tenths behind Glock.

Philipp Eng was sixth for BMW, with the Audi RS 5 DTMs of Nico Müller, Loïc Duval and René Rast closing the classification, already a second off the pace.

Testing resumes at 14:00 CET for the final track session before the start of the season, from 5-7 of May at the Baden-Wüttemberg track.
