Robin Frijns penalised after first free practice at Hockenheim
Audi Sport driver Robin Frijns has received his first warning as a DTM driver after this afternoon’s first free practice.
The Dutch crossed the finish line twice after the traffic lights had turned red at the end of the session. An investigation ensued, with the stewards handing the Team Abt Sportsline driver a warning.
Three warnings in the same season mean a five-place grid drop for the following race, with the penalty increased to a 10-place grid drop after five warnings.
