Eurico de Jesus excluded from second Shanghai race

Eurico de Jesus has been excluded from the second TCR China race of the weekend in Shanghai.

The MacPro Racing driver had finished second amongst the TCR China drivers, and sixth overall, in the race, which helped to maintain his lead in the standings alongside team-mate Henry Ho.

The pair had looked set to take a 14 point lead over Alex Hui and Sunny Wong into the season finale on the back of a third place finish in the endurance race before news broke of the race two exclusion.

That exclusion, for the Honda Civic failing the ride height test, means the gap is instead now just two points ahead of the final rounds in Shanghai later this month.
