Spa date headlines TCR UK’s second season schedule

Organisers of the TCR UK championship have revealed a 14 race calendar for the 2019 season – which includes an overseas event at Spa.

The Belgian circuit is one of two new additions to the calendar, with Snetterton also set to host the series for the first time when the season kicks off in Norfolk in April.

Oulton Park will once again run as a busy single-day meeting in May before the trip to Spa on a date still to be determined in May.

The season will reach the half-way stage in early July with the trip to Croft before rounds at Brands Hatch Indy, Silverstone – alongside the GT Open – and Donington Park complete the seven meeting schedule.

Castle Combe and Knockhill are the two rounds to make way, although organisers say they are hopeful that ‘either or both circuits will return to the calendar in future years’.
