Jamie Green, Mike Rockenfeller and Jake Dennis penalised for red flag infringement

Audi Sport Team Rosberg driver Jamie Green, Team Phoenix’s Mike Rockenfeller and R-Motorsport’s Jake Dennis have received respective five-place grid penalties for infringements during the red flag period during the qualifying session.

Green had qualified in second place, Rockenfeller in sixth, whilst Dennis finished the session in 17th place.

With the penalty, Green will start from seventh position on the grid, with fellow Audi driver Nico Müller instead promoted to the front row. Rockenfeller will start from the 11th spot on the grid while Dennis will start last.

On a separate decision, R-Motorsport’s Ferdinand Habsburg was fined 2,000 EUR for an unsafe release during the qualifying session.
