Insight Racing enter Martin Jensen and Kristian Sætheren for Jyllandsringen

Insight Racing will field two Alfa Romeos for the TCR Scandinavia championship races at Jyllansringen this weekend for team owner Martin Jensen and the young Norwegian driver Kristian Sætheren.

“The opportunity came as Louise Frost, who normally drives the car, had to cancel. It will be a busy weekend as team owner and promoter of the DS3 Cup,” said Jensen to boxengasse.dk.

Jensen has previously driven various sports car, one make and touring car championships, finishing third in the 2004 Danish Touring Car Championship behind the wheel of a Peugeot 307.

The 21-year-old Sætheren will also make his TCR Scandinavia debut this weekend, having taken part in the pre-season test at Knutstorp earlier this year and racing full time in the 2019 DS3 Cup Denmark for the team.

“I am looking forward to the races, but I haven’t got crazy expectations. I am well aware the competition is going to be really tough. It will be really exciting,” said Sætheren.

The team will get support from Romeo Ferraris, the constructors of the TCR Alfa Romeos, during the races at Jyllandsringen.

“We will get assistance from Italy as Romeo Ferraris will bring their engineers and I am very much looking forward to show our internationally based team to them,” said Jensen.

Jensen and Sætheren make it so far three new entries for the Jyllandsringen races alongside Casper Elgaard.
