Nico Müller tops opening Lausitzring practice

Points leader Nico Müller topped the first free practice session of the DTM weekend at the Lausitzring.

The Audi driver headed manufacturer colleague Ferdinand Habsburg by a mere 0.086 seconds, with BMW driver Marco Wittmann in third, 0.217 seconds adrift.

Team Phoenix driver Mike Rockenfeller was fourth fastest ahead of Jamie Green and Philipp Eng.

Frenchman Loïc Duval and South African Sheldon van der Linde rounded off the top eight.

The second free practice session starts at 16:30 CEST.
