Benoît Tréluyer replaces Loïc Duval for Zolder

Benoît Tréluyer is going to step in for Loïc Duval for this weekend’s DTM races at Zolder.

Duval is unable to take part in the races due to racing in the Petit Le Mans in the USA this weekend.

“I’m really looking forward to driving the Audi RS 5 DTM at Zolder. It will be a great challenge, but that’s exactly what I like,” said Tréluyer.

Tréluyer took part in the DTM Dream Race at Fuji in Japan last year for WRT Audi, finishing both races in the points.

“In the past, I took part in the DTM race in Fuji. The results were pretty good. I hope I can repeat that this weekend and maybe do even better. I have done a lot of training in the simulator and I got great support from the team and Audi Sport,” said Tréluyer.

The 43-year-old has driven selected GT and one-make series races for the past couple of years.
