Tobias Brink tops wet morning test at Skellefteå

Tobias Brink topped the Friday morning test STCC TCR Scandinavia session at Skellefteå Drivecenter Arena that was held in wet conditions.

The Audi RS 3 LMS driver was 0.354 seconds ahead of Lestrup Racing Team’s Oliver Söderström while local hero Robert Dahlgren, who topped both of the dry sessions yesterday, was third, 0.401 seconds behind.

Andreas Ahlberg of Kågered Racing was fourth fastest ahead of rival Volkswagen driver Mikael Karlsson of Lestrup Racing team, 0.7 and 1.1 seconds behind respectively.

Ahlberg’s team-mate Hugo Nerman was sixth fastest while youngsters Hannes Morin and Robin Knutsson rounded off the top eight.

There were a couple of minor incidents during the session in the greasy conditions, including a spectacular run over the grass at marshals post number 11 for Brovallen Design driver Isac Aronsson. The Audi driver was able to return to the track under his own power.

The final test session of the weekend starts at 15:00 CEST, followed by qualifying at 20:20.
