Hugo Cook confirms full season 2022 programme

Youngster Hugo Cook has confirmed that he will take part in his first full campaign in TCR UK during the 2022 season.

Cook made his debut in the series at the age of just 16 last year and secured a best finish of third during a part campaign at the wheel of an Audi RS 3 LMS.

For 2022, Cook will once again run in an Audi having acquired the car raced by Nicolas Baert last year in Europe, with his focus on fighting towards the front from the outset.

“Last year was a big learning curve for me, however, I settled with the Audi very quickly and was able to extract some good results from my various appearances,” said Cook.

“Being a full-time entrant this year, what I’m hoping for is to be consistently on the podium and to make sure that we score well in each race if the podium is out of reach.

“Returning as one of the smaller teams has its challenges, however, we punched above our weight last year and we can do it again this year!”
