Tobias Brink completes Brink Motorsport line-up and aims for maiden title

Tobias Brink will start his fifth STCC TCR Scandinavia season this year with Brink Motorsport and is aiming to claim his maiden title.

“The motivation and hunger for the title is great. Now it’s time to take the step on top of the podium,” said Tobias Brink.

The Swede is going to drive a new generation Audi RS 3 LMS alongside newly signed team-mate Hugo Nerman.

“We do of course have a lot of respect for the task of learning the new cars, but we have a solid knowledge bank to bring into this,” said Ted Brink, team manager.

“And the combination of Tobias’ experience with Hugo’s young talent in our line-up this year is going to provide us with strong possibilities to fight for both the drivers’ and teams’ titles.”

Tobias Brink finished third overall and was closest to champions PWR Racing and Robert Dahlgren, albeit a massive 98 points behind in the drivers’ championship.

“We have a good view on what we lacked compared to our competitors and our new Audi cars are a key part in being able to challenge for the title in a completely different way than last year,” said Tobias Brink.

“We have a hectic schedule ahead as the cars will be delivered late, but we are strongly motivated ahead of the season considering the results we were able to secure in 2021 with the old cars.”
