Zengõ to enter two cars for Michelisz and Wéber

Zengõ Motorsport will field two BMW 320 TCs at the start of the 2012 FIA World Touring Car Champhionship for Gábor Wéber and Norbert Michelisz, with Michelisz confirmed to be racing the full season.

Gábor Wéber has previous experience for the team, driving in the SEAT León Eurocup in 2010, when he won the series. Wéber will race in the car which was driven by Kristian Poulsen to the independent drivers’ title last year, but will only be competing in the first half of the season at the European rounds plus Morocco.

Michelisz returns for his third year in the WTCC, himself a former winner of the SEAT León Eurocup in 2009, and will be back to challenge for the independents’ title in the BMW 320 TC.

Zengõ are yet to announce their title sponsor for the new season after parting company with audio technology firm Dension.
