Wiechers-Sport confirms 2013 WTCC entry

Wiechers-Sport has confirmed participation in the 2013 FIA World Touring Car Championship.
“We are facing an exciting and hopefully successful season,” said Team Manager Dominik Greiner.

The team’s driver will be revealed in the second week of March and the team is going to field a modified BMW 320 TC.
“We have been able to develop the BMW 320 TC in some areas together with BMW Motorsport during the winter. We are going to run more test mileage before the season start at Monza, so that the team and drivers are well prepared for the start of the season,” said Greiner.

The team ran one car for Stefano D’Aste last year, finishing seventh overall.
