Franco Girolami excluded for dangerous manoeuvre

Equipo YPF Chevrolet driver Franco Girolami was excluded from today’s Super TC 2000 race at Rosario for a dangerous move on lap 13, which saw Renault Lo Jack Team driver Emiliano Spataro forced to retire from the race.

Girolami had made contact with Spataro’s Renault which saw Girolami’s Chevrolet Cruze out in the gravel briefly and dropped to the back of the pack, whilst Spataro pulled into the pits on the following lap and retired his Renault Fluence with damage.

Girolami had gone on to finish in 15th position before his exclusion.
