Rob Huff gets ten place penalty for technical infringement

Münnich Motorsport driver Rob Huff has been given a ten place penalty for the first race tomorrow after his SEAT León WTCC failed a ride height check after qualifying.

The 33-year-old had qualified as the top placed SEAT driver in seventh, but will now start back in 17th place behind the Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW of Charles Ng and just one spot ahead of his team-mate and team principal René Münnich.

Huff’s race two position will be unaffected, meaning he will still start from fourth for the reversed grid race behind the ROAL Motorsport BMW of Tom Coronel, the Tuenti Racing SEAT of Pepe Oriola and James Nash’s Bamboo Chevrolet.
