SEAT gains 10kg for Hungary, Honda gain 30kg

The latest calculation of compensation weight will see the three Honda Civics gain 30kg of ballast for the Hungarian round of the Championship, whilst SEAT will also gain 10kg.

With two consecutive pole positions and a 1-2-3 result in the first race in Slovakia, the performance of the Hondas has come on markedly since Monza. With the laps of qualifying and the times from the first six races now used to calculate the weight penalty, the Hondas have been given 30kg which brings them to just 10kg less than the Chevrolet Cruzes.

SEAT will also be given a smaller increase of 10kg of ballast.

The weights of the Chevrolet, Lada and BMW are unchanged from Slovakia, with the Chevrolet still carrying 40kg of ballast and Lada and BMW able to remove 20kg from their base weight.
