José María López to test for Citroën at Valencia

Argentinian driver José María López is set to test for Citroën Racing at Valencia after the next round of the World Touring Car Championship takes place at Sonoma, California.

The 30-year-old, who took a popular home victory last time out at Termas de Río Hondo whilst driving for Wiechers-Sport, is reported by the local media at Santa Fe at this weekend’s round of the Super TC 2000, to be joining Yvan Muller and Sébastien Loeb for the test at the Valencia circuit in Spain on September 9th-10th.

López, who has said he would love to return to racing on the world stage after three championship wins in the Argentinian Super TC 2000 Championship, will miss the Turismo Carretera race at Paraná next weekend in order to attend the test for Citroën.
