Agustín Canapino wins at General Roca for Chevrolet

Agustín Canapino won the ninth Super TC 2000 race of 2013 at General Roca. The Equipo YPF Chevrolet driver won the race just eight tenths ahead of Nestor Girolami in second place and just below four seconds ahead of Mariano Werner.

Leonel Pernía made it four different manufacturers in the top four positions in his Renault Fluence, with Chevrolet, Peugeot and Toyota in the top three positions.

The race was rather uneventful but two divers offered strong drives up through the field. Renault Lo Jack Team driver Guillermo Ortelli made his way from 27th on the grid to 13th position in the end and Honda Petrobras driver Damian Fineschi came home in eleventh position from 15th on the grid.

Franco Vivian finished fifth ahead of Facundo Ardusso and Mariano Altuna. Fabian Yannantuoni, championship leader Matias Rossi and José María López, who recently tested for the WTCC Citroën team, rounded off the top ten.

Rossi continues to lead the championship on 193 points ahead of Pernia on 133 and Facundo on 214 with 97 points left to be fought for in the three final races of 2013.
