Rob Huff leads incident free warm up at Macau

Münnich Motorsport’s Rob Huff topped the time sheets in the 15 minute morning warm up at Macau, leading the two Chevrolets of Pepe Oriola and Yvan Muller, with James Thompson fourth for Lada.

The 33-year-old Briton set his best lap in the final few moments of the session, pipping Pepe Oriola’s Chevrolet by two-hundredths of a second.

Yvan Muller, who starts from pole for the first race of the day, was third, three-tenths of a second down, with James Thompson’s Lada fourth.

Tom Coronel was the best of the BMW drivers in fifth, with Stefano D’Aste the fastest of the Yokohama Trophy drivers with the sixth fastest time.

Henry Ho was the fastest of the Eurosport Asia Trophy drivers in 22nd overall in the Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW 320si.

Gabriele Tarquini just set an installation run in his Honda Civic, while Mak Ka Lok’s RPM Racing BMW didn’t take part in the session.

The first race is scheduled to begin at 11:20 CST.
