Tom Coronel to miss Nordschleife test due to Marrakech damage

ROAL Motorsport have found significant damage to the chassis of Tom Coronel’s Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1 just as they were preparing to take part in today’s test at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, which will prevent the Dutchman from doing any running on the legendary German track.

The car has already left the track and the team are turning their attention to repairing the car instead for this weekend’s race at the Hungaroring near Budapest.

The team’s second car of Tom Chilton will continue to test at the only scheduled test day of the season.
