Rob Huff taken to hospital after test crash
Rob Huff was taken to hospital after a crash while testing with Lada Sport Rosneft at the Hungaroring yesterday.
”Big shunt at turn 1 here in Budapest, lots of bumps and bruises but I will survive!” wrote Huff on his social media channels.
The front left suspension failed on the main straight of the Hungaroring on his Lada Vesta, sending him spinning in to the barriers at 180 km/h.
”Hitting a wall at 180kms is not fun but u can’t get rid of Huffy that easy!” wrote Huff.
The crash saw Huff sidelined for the remainder of the test, with Jaap van Lagen and Néstor Girolami completing the test.
