Volvo announces car numbers for WTCC return

Volvo factory team Polestar Cyan Racing has unveiled the car numbers for its drivers Fredrik Ekblom and Thed Björk in the 2016 FIA World Touring Car Championship.

Ekblom will race with #61 and Björk with #62. The team has selected the numbers based on the number 60 of the Volvo S60 model.

Robert Dahlgren ran with #30 in the 2011 evaluation season when using the Volvo C30 model.

2016 marks the return of Volvo to the WTCC, running two cars with the plan to expand to further cars in 2017.

The full list of the 2016 WTCC numbers will be released next month.
