Mehdi Bennani gets third MAC3 call-up for Citroën

Citroën Racing have nominated Mehdi Bennani as their third driver for the post-qualifying Manufacturers Against the Clock (MAC3) challenge this afternoon at the Hungaroring for the third consecutive race meeting, joining their factory drivers Yvan Muller and José María López.

With three drivers required to take part in the event, Citroën have the task of nominating one of their independent drivers run by Sébastien Loeb Racing at each race weekend to join their two-car factory drivers, while Honda and Lada are able to run their three factory-run drivers at each event.

MAC3 takes place in reverse manufacturers’ championship order, with Lada up first followed by Citroën and Lada.
