25 cars confirmed to this date

Full season entries to the 2005 FIA World Touring Car Championship closed on 28th February. 25 cars have been confirmed to take part in the championship´s full season, representing seven different car Manufacturers.

A number of other cars will compete on a race-by-race basis, expanding the field to 27/32 cars per event. Five manufacturers (Alfa Romeo, BMW, SEAT and newcomers Chevrolet and Ford) have entered in the Manufacturers championship. A provisional entry list will be released at the Media Day in Monza, on 22nd March.

Brilliance will not take part in the two first rounds, still many uncertain parts regarding that project yet.
