WTCC to Interlagos in 2006

The Brazilian F1 track Interlagos looks set to be part of the WTCC calendar next year. “South America is important to our manufacturers,” WTCC boss Marcello Lotti said to Autosport. “so I am happy that it looks like we are going to Brazil.”

Interlagos won´t be the only new track for the calendar next year. As we reported earlier Helsinki looks set to host a street race. Recent reports have also indicated that China could get one round at the Chinese GP track.
