Yvan Müller to WTCC?

BTCC Vauxhall-driver Yvan Müller has revealed that he has had talks with Team ORECA about driving a SEAT in the WTCC 2006. ORECA will run a car in the three coming WTCC rounds this year.

“There is no contract, only a proposal. I have had a few proposals. I know the boss Hugues de Chaunac, because he gave me my first touring car drive in a BMW in 1994. They asked me to do the last three rounds of the WTCC season but it clashes with the BTCC so Ortelli is doing it,” Müller said.

“I´ve only had talks with them, but I have only had talks with people about next season so far. There are no deals on the table. People who say they know what I am doing next season know far more than me.”

Alongside the ORECA offer Vauxhall is reported to have offered Yvan a drive in the BTCC 2006.
