Volvo working on new S40?

According to the latest issue of Motorsport Aktuell – Volvo is on the move to introduce the new S40 to touring car racing. The homologation of the S40 was just recently completed.

The model is expected to make its debut in the STCC first, replacing the current S60 that originally was built by Prodrive. This is belived to be the first step torwards an eventual WTCC programme for Volvo. Stay tuned for further news on this subject.
