Lada delayed until June

Lada announced earlier that they will compete in WTCC this year. This is the first time ever that a Russian manufacturer enters a FIA championship. But the racing programme for the Russian manufacturer is delayed.

At first they were supposed to be on the grid for the first race at Monza. But there are no cars present in Italy this weekend. The WTCC organisation expects the Lada cars to join the championship from the Oschersleben race (4th June). Lada will start their first tests soon and the announcement of the two drivers is expected to follow shortly after that.
