SEAT dominate qualifying

SEAT and BMW drivers fought hard for the pole position. Gabriele Tarquini managed to set the fastest lap with a time of 1:49.306 and gave pole position to SEAT. And SEAT claimed the majority of the top positions today in France.

Tarquini’s team mate Rickard Rydell stole second position on his last lap. By one thousandths of a second he demoted BMW Team Germany’s Jörg Müller to third on the grid.

The top 15 drivers were covered by only one second. Tom Coronel claimed 14th position and topped the Independent drivers.
