Closer than ever in the points

The latest WTCC race at Oschersleben moved the championship standings closer than ever. Six drivers are within two points! Priaulx and Y.Müller heads the board with 33 points. D.Müller and Thompson share third spot with 32 points. Rydell and Tarquini are only one point further behind with 31 points.

“I predict the championship will be decided in the last race,” Priaulx said after the Oschersleben race.

The manufacturers points are equally close, but with only BMW and SEAT fighting for the lead. BMW currently heads the board with 103 points while SEAT have 100 points.

Next race takes place in Brazil on the 2:nd of July. Who will head the standings after that race? Theoretically eleven drivers have the chance to take over the lead, but it is more likely that top seven will continue fighting for the lead. Four SEAT’s vs. three BMW’s!
