Giovanardi to drive for JAS

Fabrizio Giovanardi will join the WTCC in Brazil. The ex-Alfa Romeo driver will make a guest appearance for JAS Motorsport, driving a Honda Accord. The Italian will replace Pierre-Yves Corthals and is excited about driving against his old rivals.

“I am really delighted,” the Italian said to crash.net, “and it’s a fantastic opportunity to be back in the WTCC. The Accord and JAS are certainly competitive, and I look forward to fight against my old colleagues.”

Giovanardi is competing in the BTCC for Vauxhall beside his guest appearance in WTCC.
