Zanardi to test Sauber-BMW F1

Alessandro Zanardi is scheduled to make a Formula One test for the BMW-Sauber F1-team. The test is reported to take place after the season. Zanardi last raced in F1 1999, two years later he crashed in a CART-race and had to amputate both his legs. The F1 he is going to test will be modified for him.

Since 2003 Zanardi have been racing for BMW in ETCC and WTCC. This season Zanardi has taken two podium finishes and currently is 14:th in the championship. Stay tuned for more news on the subject.
