Only two SEATs next year?

The different messages about the number of cars and drivers in the SEAT team continues. SEAT Motorsport boss Jaime Puig has said that there is currently only funds for two cars. According to Autosport.nl the team is trying to get funding for another two cars from national SEAT dealers.

Gabriele Tarquini and Yvan Müller have, as earlier reported, a fixed contract for next year. Thompson and Terting seem to be out of the team while Gené and Rydell are on the list for continued drive if the funds are there.

Rumours have even spread that the whole SEAT WTCC programme could be scrapped.
