BMW E90 for Wiechers-Sport

German WTCC independent team Wiechers-Sport have presented their new BMW car at the Essen Motor Show; exhibited in the Hall 12, among the Wiechers-built roll cages and bars. At least one BMW 320si will be campaigned by the team during the next World Touring Car Championship season; the name of the driver still have to be unveiled.

In the meantime, the team have opened negotiations with a number of other drivers in order to race a second car.

Wiechers-Sport won the 2005 WTCC Independents Trophy with Marc Hennerici; in the past season the team ran two BMW 320i cars for Diego Romanini and Emmet O’Brien.
