BMW quickest at Brno testing

Andy Priaulx (BMW Team UK) clocked the day’s fastest lap of 2:11.208 in the afternoon, only 0.002 seconds faster than Jörg Müller (BMW Team Germany). Müller’s team-mate Augusto Farfus had topped the morning session with a lap in 2:11.364.

“The team has worked really well after Curitiba, and my car was very good today. I’m not quite interested to be the fastest in testing, but this is promising for when we’ll be back here for the races,” commented Priaulx.

Yvan Muller was the fastest of the SEAT men for most of the day, but Tiago Monteiro continued to adapt himself to the León and consistently improved his times by two full seconds until he was able to lap even faster than Muller.

Testing will continue tomorrow, with Michel Jourdain and Jordi Gené replacing Tarquini and Muller at SEAT Sport. According to forecasts, the weather should remain dry but colder.
