Menu speaks about his title chances

Alain Menu was in Stockholm today at the launch of the new Chevrolet Team Sweden team that will compete with one car in STCC. TouringCarTimes.com got a chance to talk to Menu about his own season in WTCC so far, where he has already won twice.

– I’m very pleased with how things have gone so far, he said. The team has done a good job and it’s been really well. We hade a difficult start but since then we have been on the podium ever race meeting. There is more speed in the car we haven’t found yet so I think we will continue to move forward.

Regardings the chances in the championship though, Alain Menu feels the BMW:s still are too strong.

– I’d say we have no chance to win the title. Of course that doesn’t mean we won’t try but on equal weight the BMW’s of Andy Priaulx and Farfus still are a bit better. But with the new car we are getting closer to them now.
